When I saw this thread, I assumed that it was:

However, I imagine that in the times of circus boxing booths there must have been some freak show of a boxer with one arm. "Win $5 for beating the one-armed destroyer" or something along those lines.

Well considering Zab Judah has managed to make a succesful career despite being born with no chin and Aduley Harrison managed to win an Olympic Gold medal despite being born with a heart then I'd say probably a one armed boxer could still be relatively succesful
