Nah, he won that fight, by two points, for sure. That was not a gift decision. He gave way some rounds early, but he won the fight. Duddy let the fight get too close by making it a war, and the played in Yory Boy's strenghts, even at his age he bang on the inside and knows how to fight.

Still, he's going to get a beating, because he gets hit way too much and Pavlik will hit him harder than anybody has hit him before. Any Yory Boy rocked him a few times. When Pavlik hits him like that, it's going to be over.
Actually quite alot of people thought Campas won that fight 3 members here i know who think the same as me are Lords Gym, Violent Demise, CutMeMick, Recently Campas struggled with the journeyman off the contender Norberto Bravo and went 10 tough rounds with Norberto Bravo so that just goes to show you what sort of level Duddy is at getting gift off an old Luis Ramon Campas who was only ever goodish even in his prime.
Sure, some members think he got a gift. Some members also thought Oscar beat Floyd. Members disagree and see close fights differently all the time. There are plently of members who agree with me that Duddy won. If Duddy would have played for a safe win instead of going for a KO, he could have outpointed him easily. But that is what makes him a fun fighter to watch. And Campos who fought Bravo is year older and several hard fights fights deeper.

I personally think Yory Boy reached down deep on last time fought the best fight he could possibly fight. People use that fight to trash Duddy, but they don't give Campos enough credit for fighting above his head that night. He got a matchup that was favorable to him, and if he had beaten Duddy, it would have put him in a better position for good payday that he really deserves. He was a very simpathetic underdog, and a lot of people hate Duddy because his popularity excedes his talent. That, in my eyes, want to see the fight for Yory Boy. If you want to see a fight that Yory Boy got robbed, watch the Matt Vanda fight. That was robbery, pure and simple. And in his prime, Campos I would list as very good, a step up from "goodish". There was a time he was feared guy for a while, only the very best could beat him.

Duddy's biggest problem is that he has a bad case of Jermaine Taylor disease. He comes into the ring very hyper and he has a tendency to abandon his best weapon - the jab. All that body tension wastes energy and makes you more susceptable to damaging power punches. Say what you will about old as Yory Boy, but he fights relaxed and uses his energy efficiently. Unfortunately for Duddy, he lacks JT physical tools and defensive toolkit to overcome his shortcoming.
