    Going on recent performances:

    Juan Diaz v Joel: Juan
Juan Diaz v Pac (VERY CLOSE,Diaz for me,Pac win would not be a shock)
Mannyv Joel: Manny (but if Joel looks like himself v Santa Cruz,I'll switch)
Juan Diaz v Davi dIAZ: Juan,it would be a battering
    Manny Pacquiao- David Diaz: Manny
    Joel Casamayor-David Diaz: Joel

    Juan pts
    Juan pts
    Casamayor points
    Juan points
    Manny points
    Casamayor points

I don't see any of these guys stopping each other as all four are pretty tough hombres.

I'd like to see how Casa looks against Santa Cruz because he looked iffy against Chico last time out. Also like to see pac at 135 but I think he'll be fine, he's been weighing in at around 144 lately on fight night, Juan only weighed 142.

Juan pts-too active for an old Casa
Juan pts-would back up Pac, Pac's not used to fighting a guy like Juan, still this is a bit tougher too call for me
Pac pts-I'm not just not sure about Casa anymore, another tough one to call as Casa could frustrate Pac and outpoint him
    Juan TKO/KO
    Manny TKO/KO
    Casa pts

Obviously I don't think of David Diaz as on these guys level.

The first two are obviously the most compelling.

I really think that at this point, Diaz would break down Casamayor. Just such intense pressure Juan brings and he has a very much rounded skillset. And Casamayor is a bit past it. I think Casamayor would have his spots and it would be a good fight but Diaz is to much to cope with at this point.

I really think that even while Pacquiao is a huge step up in competition that this is a toussup fight. It would be the first time that Pacquiao wouldn't be the pressure fighter in a bout. Honestly, that would be perfect and break Pac from that merry go round of fights there.

It would be a great fight and Pacquiao would have to fight smart to keep from Juan Diaz from just mauling him. Pacquiao does have the power that Diaz would have to respect. Those would be great exchanges. That would be a great fight. And honestly, I would rather see that then a fight with JMM that just goes back over old ground.

Casamayor is to old for Manny here. I think Manny would basically have his way with him just because Manny punches come from everywhere and they are longer then Casa's.

Poor little David Diaz would just get slaughtered by any of them.

I agree that David Diaz would lose to all 3 of them. I just felt he needed to be included since he is a beltholder.

I would favor both Juan Diaz and Casamayor against Pacquiao.

    What about Katsidis.

I think Juan would bust him up but I've never been as high on Katsidis as most people are.

Juan Diaz- Joel Casamayor - Diaz on points with workrate and pace
Juan Diaz- Manny Pacquiao - Diaz by stoppage too big and powerful
Joel Casamayor- Manny Pacquiao - Casa on points , bigger , stronger more experience better boxing brain
Juan Diaz-David Diaz - Juan on points high pace from both but more class from Juan
Manny Pacquiao- David Diaz - Close but David on points with his size and strength
Joel Casamayor-David Diaz - Casa on points . Far too smart

Ditto my man,I've never been high on him. I think he's exciting but SOOOOO OPEN and cuts so easily,I mean he's young and gets busted up. He would have exciting fights with them all and lose to them all expect Diaz,I think Kats would beat him.

I'm starting to feel dorry for Diaz!

there's also Nate Campbell assuming he stays out of jail which might be a big assumption.

"I'm starting to feel dorry for Diaz! Sad Cheesy Cheesy"

would it be piling on to say that David Diaz would lose to Nate too

I actually give Diaz some chance against most of the guys mentioned. Yes he's a step below the others but he's got a lot of heart and honestly it wouldn't suprise me if he shocked everyone by knocking out Katsidis and outworking Casamayor down the stretch.

He's a battler. I like him, far from the best fighter in the world but he gives 100% of what he has and sometimes hard work, determination, a decent punch, good beard and a little bit of luck can take you further than anyone thought possible.

that actually wouldn't shock me that much

I'm kidding about him a bit although I still have a hard time forgetting how crappy he looked against Kendall Holt, granted that was a tough matchup for him, and for the first, what, 11 rounds of the Santa Cruz fight. Credit to him for finding a way to win that but I do think he's a pretty average guy.

He's a limited guy for sure, but he's made the most of what he has and I can respect that. If he fought any of the other guys I'd probably root for him. Apart from not being as good as the others there's nothing really not to like about him. A good honest pro who keeps on battling even when the chips are down.

He seems to be one of the most unpopular fighters on this forum and it's a bit unfair imo.
