Wait, so JMM has to dominate Juarez in order to earn his chance at Pac (whom he drew with, and many though he beat, last time)? But somehow Valero (who has never beaten anyone with a name) is a shoe-in? That makes no sense. Look, I pick Pac to beat any of those guys, including JMM, but if we're going to talk about who "deserves" a Pac fight most, I think there's no question that JMM is first in line.
i was talking in terms of how much interest the fight would raise. if jmm-juarez becomes close then a pac rematch wouldn't be so compelling anymore. valero is an unknown entity and everybody would expect fireworks with a match with pac. so that would make it more interesting over the jmm rematch. jmm needs to dominate in his upcoming fight to show he'll be competitive with pac in a rematch.
