People think they are upset because the government "lied" about WMD's (saddam did have wmd's as he used them against the kurds but weapons inspectors destroyed them all during a previous visit to iraq), imagine if they told the truth that we were attacked and didn't respond. THAT would've been a disaster. Waiting to attack back has given them the idea that we quit easily which is what makes the war at hand now the issue that it is (among other things).

I dunno if our government took out kennedy or not. They (the CIA) released a series of papers detailing their very shady missions during the 60's and 70's. Kennedy's assassination wasn't in there but you'd have to be an idiot to believe they would put it in there if they actually did do it. Despite being a democracy, I do think it's necessary for the government to hide things from the people it governs. Some information is best kept between those that need to know it.
