im a big fan of tyson and i personally think his repeated comeback attempts are a waste of time and money. I also find them sad to watch as it only remains me of what a fighter he was back in the 80s.

Mesi’s respite was the result of injuries suffered in a win over Vassiliy Jirov in March 2004. The damage included a subdural hematoma: uncontrolled bleeding from the brain. Mesi is currently scheduled to fight Ron Bellamy in Puerto Rico this Saturday.

In even bigger news involving Mesi, Thomas Hauser of SecondsOut.com is reporting that Mesi’s camp is in negotiations with Mike Tyson’s peeps concerning a possible bout at Madison Square Garden in December. Shelly Finkel, Tyson’s adviser, has said that she is 80% sure that the fight will happen.
