Let's hear "hard" drugs defined.

Are we counting hallucinogens like psylocybin shrooms and peyote? LSD?

I assume you at least mean coke, PCP, amphetamines and heroin.

What about smoked opium? Synthetic opiates like oxy?

MDMA and ecstacy? Ketamine?

Pharmaceuticals like Xanex and Loritab?

I've been AROUND it all my life, but never felt the need to do it.
In the beginning, people thought I was a narc or something when I didn't take part in it, but eventually they figured me out.
I just don't feel comfortable breaking the law.

However, if beer & porno were against the law I'd be a Felon with my picture in every USPO in the land.

a freind of mine did cocaine the night b4 a fight and the next day he said he was just kinda scared during the fight ..its cause all his "bravado chemicals & nurons etc" was pumped out of his brain from the cocaine the night b4 ...it steals your mojo


most drugs have there place in recreation and have for 1000s of years ...its when it keeps you from having a normal life or if its all you wanna do is when its bad ...but soldiers & fighters and common folks since the beginning of time have used just about every major drug there is today

drug addictions a dark scary world and also that inner spirit and voice that you get from god gets quiet and you stray away from whats important or what coulda been and you start hearing what the drug tells you ...i'm only 21 but from like 16-18 i was addicted to weed (yes its addictive) and i would also take pain killers & cocaine occasionally then oneday when i was trippin on mushrooms i relized it was stealing my soul and that i'm better than to be dependent and have all my money go to drugs and i was afraid of turning into a loser and losing my skills or sanity and since then i stay very far from addiction

i wont lie though i'm not 100% soft substance free but i'm very much in controll and not a regular user

Marijuana isn't CHEMICALLY addictive, it's a psychological addiction like gambling or masturbation. I'm not saying this to trivialize your addiction, I just think it's important to point out and I'm definitely not throwing stones, I used to smoke all day every day (yes, even at work) starting the minute I woke up.

I can't totally condone it. It's bad for you, wastes your money and can affect your sex drive, but I am a proponent of decriminalization.

I've tried almost everything but my first and most profound love is still for a few pints of something nice down at a quiet bar, preferably with a TV showing Glasgow Rangers, Australian Rules Footy or boxing...


Also am quite partial to a joint or two once or twice a month...


Pot is a funny one - I went back to uni this year and I smoked quite a lot of dope through the summer, mostly because there is more socialising going on in that period. I noticed it was as hard as F*** concentrating in the weeks following weekends where I had smoked a lot of dope. I didn't get that at uni the first time, and I smoked way more pot the first time round... Either the pot around town is a shitload stronger than it was 10 years ago (doesn't feel like it) or my capacity for it is declining with increased age and decreased fitness...

lol your right its not chemicly addicting like morphine ...and i dont even think its bad unless u abuse it ...
but if you smoke weed everyday ...WHEN YOU QUIT ..your hunger chemical called malonyl-CoA will not be present at all and you will have virtually no appitite for awhile, also your natural endorphines & dopmines in your body will be atleast 50% less unless your use other drugs or go to the carnival to naturally get dopamines ...and that can lead to deression ....lol not to be all nerdy sounding and your 100% right about marijuana being mentally addictive ...but i'm just sharing the chemical dependence of it also (which is nothing basicly but kinda interesting)

ive smoked a cigarette..they are classed as drugs arnt they.and my next door neighbour used to be a drugdealer and i was always in her house breathing in the drugs (not on purpose mind) does that count?
