Here's the relatively young fighters I think can/will become stars and I LOVE:

    Miguel Cotto
    Jorge Linares
Edwin Valero(those 3 I've followed from day1 and it's been amazing to see them develop)

Then these guys are just awesome to watch and could be stars in their own right:

    Kelly Pavlik
    Steven Luevano
    Cristian Mijares
    Abner Mares
    Juan Diaz
    Juanma
Takefumi Sakata(his style will always lead to exciting fights)
Bad Chad Dawson(HUGE PROPS TO CUtmeMick,he called it on this guy before anyone else, most, myself included, had not even heard from him until Mick brought it up)

There are a few others but those are the ones that stand out imo. In fact if you look at that list, alot of those fighters are latino, and are going to step up in place of aging warriors like Mab,EM,Arce etc/

Honestly...I consider him one of the old gang now...I've been following that kid since he got crankin.
I dunno about Cotto, i got no faith in his chin at all, and his style needs a chin that can back it up. He might get through mosley, but i think hes going to be one of those fighters who beats big names, but also losses to them, i think guys like magarito will stop him because he can take what cotto has to offer and drop him. Citron's power hight and speed i think will drill him every time and i don't see cotto making it through any fight with him. Williams is another one with speed stupid hight and holds, another fightr i think cotto will strugle with badly...

You do realize that this is a "Pick YOUR Future Favorites List" list, right?

    It's not a "Let's Piss & Moan About Wacko's List" list.

I figured you dig on Pavlik seeing as how he's been blasting bitches out & he got up to hammer out a knockout win over Taylor...I mean Joe did the same thing back in his day & everyone was still slating him...the only difference was that Joe did it against Mitchell & Pavlik did it against Taylor.

In other words...Joe did it against a chump & Pavlik did it against a champ.

    Oh! come on Preme.....
I spent months debating the shit! out of ROCKYMARSHMELLOW that Cotto was the future in boxing.
You gotta understand he's already faced big punchers yes they've dropped him but he got up and finished the fight.....

I can't stress this enough remember early Tito he would get dropped by almost anyone he fought, well Tito would dust himself off and try again.
Tito lost when he moved up to Middleweight and had no business there.
I think Cottos smart enough and hes just a guy who loves his job has a plan and executes it.

Ok I'll just mention a couple of guys whi I follow that others havn't mentioned yet.

Odlanier Solis, Olympic Gold medallist and amatuer world champion he's defected from Cuba and advancing quickly in Germany where's he relocated. I'm not sure that the German promoters can speak English as his entrance music is about as profanity laden as it could possibly be, basically like spending an afternoon in the trailer park with Katfights and her kids (I'm only joking Kat hunny )

Steve Molitor, he may have lower legs that even JT Rock would be ashamed of but he's one hell of a smooth operator in the ring. Always considered a slick boxer rather than a puncher he has recently started to find some power and I believe could be the man to dominate the super bantamweight division.

Carl Froch, it's taken him ages to step up but 2008 will hopefully be his year. Joe won't be around for ever and the man to come out of the shadows then will clearly be the Cobra in the UK at least. I'm not totally sold on his workrate yet and he likes to hang his chin showing disdain for his opponents power but he's a vicious nasty puncher who really does strike like a snake. A solid chin, real power and an supreme sense of self confidence will make Froch a nightmare for anyone to face.

Allan Green, I know people will pounce on me for this but I really believe he'll bounce back big in 2008. I think he's picking up a belt for sure next year and could even cause a major suprise by knocking out one of the top dogs in the 160 or 168 lb divisions.
