Oh I agree completely, like I said in my post I think Pavlik would've beaten him anyways, but compared to the other fights I have seen him in, Miranda appeared a lot slower and more listless, which to me indicated it could've been weight issues. If he doesn't adapt his style he's never going to win a belt because showed everyone how to beat him, but he's an exciting fighter and he has a great story behind him.
I hate to be the one in the minority here...but I gotta be that guy.

I don't see it being an issue of Miranda fighting tall or anything like that. He just doesn't utilize any form of defense. He's an offense first fighter. He uses all that power & force to back a fighter up & had never faced anyone like Pavlik or Abraham, both of whom used a defense & matched his power.

He can handle being tossed in with a boxer as proven against his elder Howard Eastman but Howard fought his fight for all his experience & Miranda was able to muscle him around the ring.

Pavlik new the shot that would beat him...a cracking left hook. Both Pavlik & Lowe watched tape on Miranda & saw that he left the barn door open & was susceptable to the left hook. Pavlik knew what many of fighters knew...Miranda drops his hands & fires off power shots leaving himself open to the counter. He never pulls his mits up in front of his face while exchanging.

He forgets his defense & Pavlik saw that & used it & hammered him the fwock out.

Watch him again....better yet...watch that fight & the Eastman fight.

It's right there & until he starts using some form of defense...he's fwocked.
