Come on bro...Matt Skelton isn't even his family's best heavyweight...he just ended up at the top of the Frank Warren merry-go-round in which only Warren fighters fight each other, and the prospects for the division don't get a look in. At least I'm hoping there are some unheralded prospects hiding somewhere....
I was looking at some of these British heavyweights. And if I was to rank them, I'll put Skelton at number 1. That's sad.
I agree it's pathetic, but we did have the last undisputed champion, add to that the fact he was born in Canada, I think that tells you how bad your guys are doing too. Let's face it, the real Heavyweights these days are in the NFL or the NBA.
As inconsistent and bad as Hasim Rahman, John Ruiz, Calvin Brock and James Toney are. I would still rather take them over the pitiful bunch of Matt Skelton, Danny Williams, Michael Sprott and Audley Harrison. Seriously, does the UK even have any heavyweight prospects that are any good?
