Good read, good question : Why is Juan Diaz not respected or a fan favorite?

I've always had mad respect for him, one of my favourite fighters to watch.

I was amazed when people said they weren't looking forward to the Diaz vs Diaz fight

He's a superstar in the making and Pacquiao would do well to avoid him imo.

I've always thought that he was a hell of a boxer...but something just never really clicked with him for me. Not sure what it was either...seriously. I have seen a chunk of his fights & he was always inspiring...but again...something oddly never clicked.

Last weekend & the Lakva Sim fight sealed the deal for me.

Cuz he goes out of his way to duck Casamayor. The true Lightweight champion. He beats (hell if he even fights) Casamayor he'll have my respect

He'll breeze Casamayor making him look old & coRnfused then exposing him for the dirty fighter that he is.

It's obvious Diaz doesn't think so himself. It's no coincidence that Diaz called out fighters but fell to mention Casamayor's name. Diaz wants nothing of Joel.

Can you blame him?

I mean...who wants to eat forehead & elbows all night long?
