Don Jose said: "If he (Manny) declines for a third time, then I think he doesn't want to fight Marquez, and we have to go our way. But I believe that Marquez and Pacquiao are willing to fight each other. And it's got to be in the first quarter of 2008, because there are no other television dates for the rest of the year, and they cannot do without the television, because it's a big money fight. So I believe that's going to be a great opportunity at the beginning of the year."
Bro, a little correction/clarification on why Manny's camp declined on fighting with JMM.
JMM was asking too much according to Pacquaio's camp. Was it 60-40 sharing in favor of JMM?

That's why they are contemplating on Valero and David Diaz as the most feasible opponents.
A decline is a decline regardless
After all we discussed on the other thread regarding the JMM-Pac prize purse and that PAC deserves the bigger prize purse, here we go again, ... same issues. And Pac is the one being blamed for not taking the fight.

You could make a case that it is JMM who is in the habit of declining, not PAC. He declined the first rematch with Pac. He declined the challenge of Joan Guzman. Now he is in effect, declining fighting Pac again, by insisting on a high prize purse.

Let JMM take a 30/70 prize split, and fight will push through. As I have said in the previous thread, Pac simply has to insist on his prize purse, and JMM will still take it after making a lot of noise and protests. Because JMM has no other big-money fight unlike Pacquiao. If it takes JMM or Nacho some time to realize this, it might happen a little later after Pac fights someone else, but the fight will still push through.
