Silva vs Okami DQ?

Anybody seen this fight? I really didn't understand why he was DQ'd. Seemed awfully ticky tacky of a rule. Needless to say what an awesome kick!!

WTMF What did he do wrong These people who make some of these rules are puss#es. Beautiful kick and a ridiculous call. We all know who won that fight

Well you can't knee or kick the head of a down opponent which is defined as on their knees or lower. I'm not a fan of stomps and soccer kicks but knees and kicks to "down" opponents should be. I just thought it was weird to see Okami on top but get the call.

I hear you, but guys can kick upwards to keep an opponent from trying to mount him; straight up leg kicks with their heels. So it's stupid to say Silva couldn't do what he did. Who knows; seemed like they made the rule right on the spot.
