It was a while back and I remember thinking that he was pretty good. Great footwork, combinations, came from good angles. he was real lanky if I remember correctly.

    Good prospect, IMO.

    He was 4-0, or something.
ha ha ha I looked on Boxrec and there have been 15 Ray Robinsons. Apart from the Daddy, 10 of the 14 failed to win a fight

This is the one I was referring to.

I saw him against Diamond, and he looked real polished for somebody so new. It looks like he has yet to lose a single round.

It's cool, I didn't think you were hating on my uber-prospect. I just wasn't sure if you would be able to sift through all the "other," Ray Robinsons.

It's like a needle in a hay stack.

I've been trying to find footage of him since this thread kinda reminded of him, but have been unsuccessful so far.

Technically he doesnt count anymore, as he fought his 6th pro fight friday, but I'd still like to nominate Yuriorkis Gamboa (http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...1770&cat=boxer).

As Solis, he is Cuban and 2004 Olympic Gold medallist. His opponent on friday was 25-1, with the only previous defeat being in a WBO titlefight.
And apparently Gamboa is fighting again next week (on the Miranda undercard). I have previously written here that people should watch out for this planned American debut, but I assumed that they dropped the idea when they sent him in the ring 11 days prior in Germany.

But no, he is again confirmed on the card, and he is fighting the WBA #11 Adailton De Jesus.

Talk about moving a fighter fast...
