Castillo has the ability to beat many of the names around the 140 pound division. I am not really sure what happened to him in the Hatton fight, to me it almost seemed like he just lost all will and ability. Castillo has never been one to shy away from a war or be on the timid side of taking shots. I am in no way trying to take anything away from Ricky Hatton and his win I think no matter what he would have ended up with the victory. When I was watching the fight I just don't think Castillo was himself that night.

A win over Junior Witter is not out of the question, I think Paul Malinaggi would be too slick for him. I don't think Castillo could knock him out even if he did catch Paulie often. If Miguel Cotto could not KO him, Castillo's chances don't look promising either. A knockout is the only way he would get the win.

I am not in a rush to consider Castillo done with as a force in the division. Another fight or two will give the answer for sure.
