I now rate Joe #1 simply because he did what I wanted him to, beat another phenomenal fighter. I rate him high for what he has accomplished, but more because of his enormous potential even at this late stage of his career. He has the style to make other great fighters look one dimensional, only very special fighters can do that. He has never even come close to losing, nothing disputed and continuously dominating. Yes he even replaced Mayweather on my own list, simply because I have seen Mayweather look beatable, while Joe has not even been truly tested yet IMO.

Multiple titles in different weight classes mean nothing to me if you avoid the best those divisions offer. I know a number of them in the top P4P lists have moved up and weight and won a title, but unless they stick around long enough to clear that division out also, to me it is just another win.

I was always down on Joe before because of the opposition he has fought, but he has unified his division against feared opposition and did it easily. What many see as him beating "over-rated" opposition, I now realize it as Joe making that opposition look over rated.

Top five......no way i see him above manny or floyd. Right after seeing a single performace that good it's easy to not look at the whole picture so i could see people disagree with each other and rank him anywhere in the top five.

I can see Joe above JMM i do not think that is out of the question to think so. He has accomplished more i think being a champ for ten years beating everyone in his division and unifying. All that with out being tested or losing so yea he can possible have a spot over JMM. Also Deanrw i see were your going with jumping when i think clearing a division is better accomplishment in my view as well CC for good input.

I think Calzaghe is underrated in Britain partly because he is Welsh, and underrated in other parts because they see him as British. I think Hatton should be higher than Joe in the p4p list even now, but that is down to bias as well. Bias apart - neither can be the number one. Mayweather has to be there, and I can't see a conclusive argument against that. If Hatton beats him (please god) then he would have to be number one (second top 3 p4p he would have beaten).

Not to change the topic, but what in the world has Joel Casamayor ever done to be ahead of Marquez, Calzaghe, or Winky?

    He's never lost a fight, that's what.

I agree that Casa can make claim to have never lost but we have to take the judges opinion into consideration or else it all comes debatable . Barrera wouldnt have fewer losses , Hopkins would have fewer . Otke would have more losses. Oscar could have beaten Floyd . Floyd could have also lost to Castillo etc , so it all becomes too debatable so its best we stick to facts .

Calzaghe is the second best p4p fighter in the world to pretty boy mayweather. How can anyone say joe is not, look how many title defences he has had. Such a champ!

    You're obviously losing it.

You believe there's only 5 fighters in the world better than that coward Calzcrappy?
