luke, i have no intention to argue but it really is no philosophy, it is the truth. Some people, I guess like you, work mostly on their overall body strength to achieve stronger punches (which is not bad of course), but for example look at Mumammad Ali. It's like, I can see from your avatar that your muscles are quite cut, but his weren't. One thing is that today's athletes are in much better shape then they were but still.
So, I'm saying that you CAN achieve killer punches by doing a lot of weight training, but you can do the same only by doing the NON-weight training exercises. But basically, body movement, speed and technique will be lying on the road to success.
