I agree his chin was underrated....People tend to forget he got caught with thunderous punches by 2 VERY BIG punchers in their primes....Both McCall and Rahman at their best could bang with the best of them...add that to the poor shape Lewis allowed himself to come in at for those fights and it is easy to see why he was KO'd......But then again Lewis made it a point to avenge both losses and show everyone that those guys were fly by night fighters who had their moment of glory but he was the one who decided how long that moment would last....

Like I said he was one of those that are missed the longer he is gone....
Not sure if I responded on this thread or not...but whether I did or did not...this is a good post that I totally agree with...pretty much.

Honestly...I can't understand why people didn't like Lewis.

They sure as S*** missed him after he was gone...the same can be said of Vitali.

Lewis, Vitali, & Kirk Johnson (go ahead & laugh ...I do...every time I say it) oddly enough were all my favorites during their time. I would have loved to seen them in with some of the currents right now...total blood baths.

CC back at ya Wack....TBH I can't laugh at the Kirk Johnson comment, He was a guy I thought was going to make some big noise....Then he got fat and lazy....I was a fan of his up until the DQ loss to Ruiz...Then he just went down the tubes He had the goods but?...The once Vitaly starched him I think any hopes of getting back on track went out the window.....
