Wack man, I have just spent the last two minutes laughing....that was an absolute cracker of a comparison you pulled out of the bag there. Three more pints of lager (that's a total of four pints) and i would've downright wet myself right here in my chair.

You get your CC for that one man, that is such a good pickup, but we already know that Robin "The Rock" Reid has already been starring in some movies...but rather more X-rated than the Scorpion King.

I know, when I've been tangoed!

Froch is 1/7, Reid is 7/1 to win according to the bookies. You don't see 7/1 odds very often in a two horse race, do you?

Tells you all you need to know. I'd love it if Reid finds a big punch though.

Reid will test the Cobras chin at some point and test it well (you never lose that punch and Reid was smashing Calzaghe about a fair bit when they met) but Froch will be too strong for him and i see him doing a number on him fairly early.
Reid won't know whats hit him when Carl lands that upper-hook on him.
Froch is also a top finisher and once he has Reid hurt it's all over.
If Froch loses then i'll be the first to admit he was never the fighter i thought but he's hungry and has the tools and power to destroy Reid and i fully expect him to do so in style.
Froch inside 6 rounds for me.
Another top weekend of fights starts tonight....av it.

I think Froch's last few fights were against southpaws, I think he''ll find it harder to land that shot on Ried.

I don't know what to think about Froch, sometimes I just want him to be battered to shut him up, other times I find his comments quite funny, plus he gives us fans something to talk about.

At the moment I want Reid to shut him up, but I don't think he has enough left to do so.

Yeh i'd expect Reid to have a bit of success with the right hand early on but i see him folding as soon Froch lands clean. IMO he has more ko power than Jeff Lacy had and he dropped Reid 4 times....and Froch needs to impress. And he will.

    Tko/Ko around the 6th i'd say.

If the Lacy fight was on this side of the pond I dont think Reid would of been on the deck so much. He lost that fight before it started.

Still, don't see him winning this. Although you can get 100/1 per round for a Reid KO. Tempting considering I would expect him to bounce a few off Froch's bonce.

I agree, a quid on each of the rounds for Reid could be an idea, because we've never seen Froch properly pressured and shipping punches thrugh his guard, and Reid might shock him, but I also agree its unlikely. Looking forward to this one now...should be decent.

I can't get that Aussie sheep farmer Westerman smashing Froch - and seeming to hurt him at one point - constantly early in their fight.. Think they'll always be doubts about his leaky defence

But surely Reid is too far past it....

Reid has to go at him early and will imo which will make Carl put it back on him early doors....this alone will make it an explosive fight!!
Reid is always gonna have a punchers chance early on against anyone in the division.
Well worth a few little bets that 100-1 buisiness
Reid will blow out his ass after 3 or 4 then Froch will put the killer blows together

Froch should win comfortably, but the guy is becoming the Junior Witter of 168, what his obession with Calzaghe similar to the one Witter has with Hatton?

Froch says he is going to do a number on Reid something Joe couldnt do HAHAHAHAH!! Carl that was nearly ten years ago, but Froch actully thinks Calzaghe is scared of him, the guy is a grade A wanker.

He is 30 years old and fighting Robin Reid for peanuts for the British Title, Calzaghe is one of HBO's main boys and top 5 p4p going on to fight big names for millions of pounds. I wish someone would shut Froch the fuck up, he needs to start showing some fucking repsect and also should have a word with his promotional team to why he is still messing about with the British title at 30 years old if he is the elitest boxer he believes he is?
