The thing is, I think Rees has stumbled into this title a little prematurely, and still has some work developing to do to be a decent champion, so going for the harder fights straight away would be a little suicidal on his part, so beating some contenders (maybe there was a pun intended) before some really big fights, like D-Hop, would probably be best for him.
If you actually watched the Forbes D-Hop fight you'd know that Forbes won that fight by a country mile. He won at least 9 rounds on my card he completely dominated.

He followed it up with a win over former super prospect Bojado as well so right now I'd say aside from Malignaggi and Hatton Forbes is the best fighter at 140 right now.

I'm suprised it's happening but Forbes will romp to an easy win if it happens. He'll completely outclass Rees although whether he will get the decision is another thing entirely.
