I think that Kessler would prove too much for Carl, not only moving forward in straight lines, but capitalising on Froch's habit of dropping his left hand lead, which he did less tonight, but still often enough for Reid to clip him a few times. I believe that Kessler would have to really dominate to stop Froch, so I think Kessler would win a points victory, 116-110 including a couple of knockdowns.
kinda got a problem with that statement, what is your bases for saying Kessler has more heart? not really sure what you mean
OK, this is based purely on both of the fighters' encounters with Joe Calzaghe, because that is where both fighters faced their biggest test and found themselves wanting. For me, going into the championship rounds both Kessler and Lacy were behind on the cards, and their responses to those situations were very different. In rounds 10,11 and 12, it seemed to me that Kessler dug deeper than Lacy and looked to catch Calzaghe with big shots, whilst Lacy seemed to resign to defeat and only wanted to survive the distance and avoid the KO. Basically, and I know you're a Lacy fan, but when both men were beat, Kessler was still swinging and Lacy wasn't.
