You know I still don't understand why people say this.

ICB, did you see the punchers Haye took that dropped him?

Hayes been dropped by some hard punches, to me a suspect chin is a fighter whos very early in his career and has been dropped several times. The punches that have dropped Haye in his career have come from some hard hitting punchers.
These shots that dropped Haye were vicious JMM was landing at will once Haye went to the ropes. Haye was smart enough to take a knee and try to recover would he have not went down to a knee JMM would have really hurt him bad. Hayes shown that hes smart, hes got the heart and his got the power to spark some lights out. Whoever says hes got a suspect chin needs to re-think that one. Now his stamina is a whole another story.
Well actually he has proved me wrong tonight Mick and im glad thinking about it again i think its more of stamina issue.

Thinking back about it i think i was wrong with that statement because the main reason he was dropped in Thompson fight was because he used up too much energy and he went down basically because he had nothing left.
Yup, well said guys. I've never totally bought into the suspect chin thing...it was just that the Thompson fight came as Haye was still getting used to six rounders, and quite simply he punched himself out then, more out of inexperience than anything else. He showed here the experience to take the knee, pop out the jab to keep Mormeck off and regain his legs and did fantastically well. It's such a disappointment to see Haye moving up straight after claiming the unified titles, but I guess the weight is such a drain for him as he admitted in the post fight interview, his legs went completely in the fourth and he thinks that won't happen at heavy.
