Roy did not fight the opposition of Marvin Hagler and to say he would win is just presumptuous of some. It is not that easy. And I am saying you put the Hagler who fought Hearns in with Jones and Jones has a problem. You put the Hagler who fought Leonard (Hagler was sort of inactive for 2 years since the Hearns fight) and Jones has a chance. After Hearns, Hagler fought only one time in 2 years until fighting Ray. He did not look good with Ray and I could tell this before the first bell rang. Against Hearns he looked 5 years younger than when he fought Ray. Hearns fought the better Hagler. Fact is that Jones is like alot of guys now. boxers who knockout lesser opponents with his speed yet he never fought his equals. Anda fighters equals never go down easy.

Jones also fought very good opposition just because Hagler took one good right hand from Hearns doesn't mean he would beat Jones Hearns just fought a bad fight by trading with a natural Middleweight when Hearns chin isn't all that great.

Hagler's best wins were against fighters moving up in weight.

Just compare there records for a second.

Hagler's best wins.

Thomas Hearns
John Mugabi
Juan Domingo Roldan
Roberto Duran
Vito Antuofermo
Mustafa Hamsho
Alan Minter

Roy Jones's best wins

Virgil Hill
Bernard Hopkins
James Toney
Mike McCallum
Montel Griffin

These names alone trumps most of Hagler's opposition except Hearns and Duran but Duran was natural Lightweight and Hearns was natural Welterweight.

I have said this time and time again that Hearns fought a very bad fight trying to go to war with Hagler and Hagler basically took over after the 1st round just because Hagler beat suspect chin Hearns in a shoot out doesn't mean he could beat Roy Jones Jr in boxing match because thats what kind of fight it would be had they met.

Jones beat 4 Hall Of Famer's and beat good opposition he beat the best opposition of his era name me another fighter that beat as many good names as Jones did in last decade or achieved what Jones did ?? i don't think your find many.
