I was at the Garden last night, what a great fight and a great crowd.

I have a question... I'm sure it's been answered already, but I figured I'd just ask it again instead of trying to dig thru all the pages in this thread....

Did something happen to Cotto around Round 9 or so? What caused him to suddenly start backing up for the final 3-4 rounds and constantly fight with his back on the ropes? I didn't see one specific punch that hurt him.

he did say he just wanted to win it the easier way cause he had already felt he had the win in the bag as long as mosley doesn't knock him out.

I think it was an easier decision to make considering Mosley had reverted back to plan A with even less caution and was clearly trying to out punch Cotto regardless. I dont think Cotto liked that too much.

Cotto suprised/ impressed me the way he delt with Mosley's aggression though. I really never thought i would of seen Mosley chasing Cotto around like a headless chicken.......

Even at 36, i don't see Mosley having trouble with someone who he can hit with relative ease

I just wanna say that Cotto is probably the most improved fighter ive seen (at the level were you expect a figter to stop improving) since maybe Mundine.

He could well be the truth at 147 although there a few physiological intangibles that I have my reservations for.
