Look at history and everyone will see this Euro, Amero, system won't work. Asia is too big and too diverse....where does Russia fit in....and Simon Bolivar already tried to make a unified South America and he failed miserably.

But no we're destined to repeat this idiotic idea....and all this means is that when a downturn in the stock market hits we're all going to be up S***'s creek.

Right now the US is basically taking the slow route to turning the almighty dollar into what the Deutchmark was circa 1929.

I really have no issues with Canada or Canadians but I am not a socialist and I don't want their government....I have no issue with Mexico or Mexicans in general but I don't want my country to be overrun with their poor and believe you me they have a lot more than America does.

This is a very very very bad idea....the Euro was ok but I am sure people still resent the idea of giving up their boarders, language, and culture
Do you really think so I think that a situation of that sort would be even more catastrophic now than it was then. At least in the 30s there was potential for some growth and plentiful supplies of fuel etc so that the economy could recover. That sort of crash, and the whole world is going to hell in a handbasket as they say.

What about a return to the semi-agricultural economy most of the "developed" world still had back then?
