I think shane's will actually broke cotto's.
Cotto was winning those rounds going backwards except the last one.He was countering Shane.Shane's will broke Cotto's?I REALLY don't think so. You obviously have not seen any of Cotto's earlier fights,he used to fight off the backfoot all the time.It wasn't uncharacteristic.Shane tried to outbox Cotto, didn't work.Cotto outboxed Shane.
I'm not surprised by your comments though, your name and the your prediction, something along the lines of Shane KO TKO,UD,SD etc etc?Unfortunately not

i said it was uncharacteristic because cotto claimed that he felt he had the won early enough to go backwards...if he felt like he was winning that easily why not finish shane? even in the post fight interview cotto said "I kept hitting him but he kept coming so I decide to win the fight the easy way"
that sounds like he wanted to finish shane but couldn't...and who cares about his early fights cotto has become a relentless bull and the first sign of weariness from his opponent he charges even more and his actions totally contradict what has done in his last 5 or 6 fights..i'm pretty sure he felt he had the paulie fight in the bag but he didn't go backwards....truth is shane was hurting him as much as he was hurting shane..if not more and he couldn't match will with shane down the stretch...don't get me wrong it was smart, if you're being hurt and feel as though the other might be stronger then why take the risk? I understand what he did, but he reason for why he did it I don't buy...
You know what...JonesJrMayweather+Mosley might be on to something.
What you posted is a possibility & highly likely. Cotto has a lot of pride & probably...no...he wouldn't admit to being hurt by Mosley...& he clearly was...whether a cut was opened in his mouth, he fwocked one of his hands up, or one of Mosley's body shots cracked a rib or two...either way...we'll never know about it.
I think any fan of Cotto's...of any fighter period...would be out of their gords not to take this factor into condsideration. Cotto may have thought that he had it in the bag...but I agree...why not finish him?
I still say that Cotto was hurt...he acted hurt & appeared hurt...I say he was hurt...but that don't make a shit...because he beat Mosley...no he beat the great Sugar Shane Mosley...& before anyone says it...Mosley was in shape & on par.
Anyone that say shane wasnt ready for that fight is just someone that wont give cotto any credit....shane was ready and looked as good as he did against collazo...this fight was close enough to garner a rematch but doesn't need to be one because miquel the young upstart and need to keep moving forward. Shane's been great and should consider the after life..i think cotto beat a very good version of shane certainly not a ruined old guy, like odlh did with chavez...cotto has acsended and is ready for anyone, no more can anyone say he is green... but floyd might prove otherwise if he can past ricky....
