Manfredo's/Lacy's stock after their fight...

If Manfredo tucks in his defence, works off the jab and just boxes, he'll take Lacy by decision. Lacy is one dimensional and plods forward. I think Pete should just pick his punches and cover up. I'm going for Manfredo by decision. He's nothing special, but he's better than most on Saddo's are willing to give him credit for.

Oh yeah he'll still get dogged. People don't even think he belongs in the top 20 which is crazy... It can go either way but it will be a close dec.

I know. He shouldn't have been in with Calzaghe, because he's not in the same class. Even though he was pulled out early, he took it on the chin and came back to have 2 more fights in 2 months. He didn't bitch or moan about being hard done by. I respect his character because doesn't get disheartened by his setbacks, as many boxers do.

Well ultimatly he knows he was in over his head. as a fan I'm glad that didn't go deeper. I don't like to watch fighters get embarassed... I think he belongs about 13-15 in the SMW div. The way he's talked about around hear you'd think he was a garbage fighter with no skill or power. I think he is a B level fghter but I don't give Lacy anymore then that either. People think he's gonna come off this shoulder surgery and be able to throw it with rediculous conviction and all of a sudden be able to box like sweet pea... Stop it. Manfredo is 3 years younger then Lacy and he has more ring experience.

Everyone picking Lacy is just starnge. I understand he is a former world champ but look at both their records. Show me all the rediculously fantastic fighters on his record that KO'd with his "power".

Lacy KO s 75% of his opponants and Manfredo 50%.

Manfredo has 179 pro rounds and Lacy has 122

Lacy is a top 5 supermiddle, and earned his way there. He wasnt a product of a goddamn shitty reality show. Dont even try to come in here and sell your bullshit that Manfredo should even be in the same class as Lacy Jeff Ko'd Reid, Williams,Vanderpool and desicioned Sheika.

Manfredo hasnt done shiit. He has nothing over Lacy's comp NOTHING... Manfredo cant even carry Lacy's jock strap. It took Manfredo 1 more round to dispatch of their common opponent(Pemberton) Who Jeff lifted off the ground and had him in the fetal position

I think I just did sell my bullshit up there... You're just not buying. Look, He has four more KOs then peter... Lacy 29 and Manfredo's 21-0 record prior was not a product of the show. But hey whatever... Maybe Manfredo could have gotten as sound a beating as Lacy did if he had been given the chanch...

Lacy has fought top of the top supermiddle comp at the time except Kessler who Jeff would have fought if he didnt get waxed by JC. Manfredo dosent even have close to the same resume or level of comp. I mean look at the record all you want a look at the total # of KO's but we both know that its just symantics at this point. i mean you cant seriously tell me that Manfredo has fought anywhere close to the level of Lacy? So it really makes that 4 more Ko comparison ridiculously twisted to me

I hear what you're saying but my point was only that this is not as big a mismatch as people think it will be. I never said I expect Manfredo to box his pants off nor do I think that Manfredo deservs to be in the top 10. I gave him 13-15 at best is my post prior.

This is what my point of this thread was

1# this fight has more implications of damaging Lacy's stock then improving it

2# this is not as large a mismatch as people think. (there are many variables that people don't take into consideration. such as the things I listed above)
