I am a big fan of Winky Wright, but I thought Taylor won this. Wright was lazy in the later rounds and shot himself in the foot. I agree with what you say about why Sturm didn't take the fight with Taylor though.

ICB is just frustrated with Sturm's career, as am I. After the Oscar fight, he got alot of credit, but he seems happy to take his mandatorys right now. It's annoying, because he recently said he'd try to unify with Abraham, but instead has planned next year fighting Griffin (again) and Castillejo (again). I understand the WBA will force him to make the second fight, but surely he should be kicking on for a new opponent instead of fighting Griffin, a guy he should have beaten with ease in the first place.
