How was the experience BZKFN,I made a thread about it but I think the thread faded into oblivion ie page 3. I thought Cotto won by 2 or 3 points. It was one of those fights, which are close but no matter what,I laways have Cotto winning.Close but comfortable?

I was very dissapointed with Mosley's jab and defense. He doesn't adapt defensively... he just resorts to a shoot out, and his jab horrible... he always slings it out, but its very easy to block for the high end guys, kind of like Zab Judah's... I think this is why both of them can't keep opponents at bay while Mayweather can. Roy JOnes Jr also through a distance finder jab most of the time, but he threw every punch in the book so effortlessly and quick that he could use a lead left hook or a lead cross instead of a jab.

I have always stated that Mosley and Judah both have raw athletic skills that are very similar to Floyds. But unlike Floyd, they stand far too flatfooted and are too caught up in throwing power shots and trading.

If Mosley or Judah used their legs and skills like Floyd, they'd be far better fighters. Floyd's versatility and movement is what separates him from those fighters.

I think it was could be a close fight, but a clear victory for Cotto. I was surprised to see how fast Cotto looked, and sometimes faster than Mosley. Now there are conversations trying to define his next fight and any direction look as a great fight.

I had Cotto up 6 rounds to two at the end of 8 and Mosley did well in rounds 9 and 10 then inexplicably switched off in 11, i gave him the final round for a 115-113 win for Cotto.

It was very close, it all depends on how you like to judge a fight, i mean look at the stats Mosley threw and landed more power shots, they both landed the same amount of punches over 12 rounds, no doubt Cottos punches seemed to be more crisp and damaging. But in truth i wouldnt of really argued with a 115-113 either way, but for his more aggresion i would say Cotto possibly deserved it. But very close fight.
There were alot of jabs that easily could be consider power punches as well for Cotto

In Cotto's case yes because he is a southpaw who was converted therefor he was hitting Shane with his stronger hand. Just look at Mosley's face at the end of the fight. He ate a lot of jabs and pitter patter jabs just don cause that kind of swelling unless you are Arturo Gatti.
Cotto was owning Shane in every area of the game. Even when Shane got on his bike he was still getting taxed. Nothing Shane was doing was working to a science. Shane had his momments but Cotto was making Shane look silly. I love the dodge Cotto did in the final round where made Shane miss something awful and the crowd yelled OLE! HAHAHA! Kellerman was like WTF! Nice move by Cotto, I did not know he that kind of move in him. But, I knew. The best of Cotto is yet to come.
