True but since you want to talk about the past (Cause you did mention the Torres, Zab fights) how well did PBF look with JLC pressure? How well did PBF look with Chavez pressure? Hhhmmmm!! I give you a few to think about that.

Torres is a DECENT fighter, but the fact is he was hurt bad,and has been on the canvas multiple times against mid to slightly high level competition.

Cause if your talking about Cotto can you please with that extended knowledge that you poses tell us what other fight besides the Torres fight has Cotto been down in cause I'd like to see it?

Also keep this in mind Trinindad was on the canvas often in his career he was always written off in his career for that wow! he sure turned out to be better then what people gave 'em credit for. So Cotto wen't down if you've seen the actual fight you'll notice that Torres pushes Cotto to actually drop him. But regardless we saw what happened in the end. You can be kicking my a** for 11 rounds 2 minutes and 59 seconds but if I knock your a** out in the last second then guess what? I'm still better then you even if you won almost the entire fight. Your a trainer of amateur boxers you should know that a fight ain't over 'til it's over.

Floyd has never been in trouble, even against the cream of the crop in any division he's fought.

I love to watch him fight because he gives it all in the ring and fights hard, but the truth is Margarito, Floyd, Hatton, and probably Oscar could all beat him at 147, the first 2 fairly easily.

Well wether they can all beat him or not is still to be seen. For starters 2 of the 4 names you listed are fighting so guess what? Logic tells you that the winners gonna wan't a piece of Cotto just as much Cotto will want a piece of the winner. I don't think Margarito can beat Cotto even after the way in which he beat Golden. I just think Cottos to smart to try and trade with Margarito he'll out box and out hustle Margarito. As far as ODLH well he's my fav. fighter but the dudes gotten old and he showed it he couldn't close out the show against PBF and again reminded me that hes never had good legs they tend to give out on him. I think Cottos too hungry and young and would quite possibly hurt/beat ODLH and when I say beat I mean it in every sense of the word.

Plus, we all know Shane is old, if he wasn't it would have been no contest, a young Shane destroys Cotto and we all know it.

I'll start at the beginning, that is true that early in his career Floyd was bothered by fighters who put pressure on him, but he grew from it and we can all agree from his more recent fights that he is much better at it than he was prior to those tests he was put through. Secondly, I was referring to Torres as a decent fighter, as I feel that Cotto is very good, yet not elite. He has impressed me with his grit and determination, yet my sole point is that he has not defeated an upper eschelon guy at the top of his game, and I don't feel he has what it takes to do it. Tito was knocked down mostly by damn good opposition, or am I wrong It does not compare to Cotto, who I believe has been down in 3 or 4 different fights through a 30 fight career. His chin is very suspect, he is quick with his hands but slow of foot and there's no denying that. Heart makes up for a lot of his shortcomings, but against the best I feel it will not matter. Margarito is just as aggressive and strong, but he can take a punch and is a physically bigger man. Floyd is just out of this world talented, and Hatton in a copy of Cotto, and the one I feel he could beat and make a great fight with. If theres one thing you can notice about Cotto it's that he always circles to the same side, we all know which way that is, and if you slip his jab he's wide open for a staright right, Floyd's best punch and one that Mosley hit him with all night....that's just one of 5 or 6 glaring flaws that a top fighter will expose to an even greater extent in one of his next 2 or 3 fights, but I will be watching because he is exciting to watch fight. Finally, I'm just using the same thing everyone uses to discredit other fighter's wins. EVeryone is building up Cotto too much for beating a 36 year old Mosley when they write off Oscars destruction of a 33 year old Chavez because Julio was TOO OLD....am i wrong?

I don't think he had trouble with pressure fighters early in his career he dealt with Chavez's pressure well the only trouble he has ever had with pressure is against Castillo but Castillo also done smart pressure not just wading in all guns blazing he showed good headmovement and if i remember correctly Mayweather had injury to his left shoulder in the 1st fight ??

Isn't Torres WBO Light Welterweight champion ?? so he has got to be more than decent to be world champion and how can you not consider Cotto elite ?? he has proven he isn't one dimensional he has good jab he can switch to southpaw he can counter punch he can brawl he goes to the body well what more can you want ?? and even though Mosley was old he was still very good fighter and in Mosley's previsous fight he shut out good fighter like Luis Collazo Cotto has dealt with all different styles and passed with flying colours so he has to be elite if he wasn't elite he wouldn't of made it this far.

You couldn't be more wrong Tito had his fair share of being knocked down by lesser opponents including Anthony Stephens who was 19-5 and where are you getting Cotto has been down 3 or 4 times from ?? he was only ever down against Torres and that was a push and thats a fact.

I think Cotto's chin is underrated since moving up 147 his chin has looked pretty good to me he was killing himself to make 140 if you remember and when you say the best at Welterweight you mention Margarito ?? and Cotto has much better boxing skills than Magarito who throws wild looping shots don't get me wrong i like Margarito but he isn't as good as Cotto and i can't understand why you mention Hatton either he has as many flaws as Cotto and looked bad in his Welterweight debut.

Yes Cotto has his flaws but so does everyone and he has proved he is elite beating Mosley and surely you can't be comparing Chavez to Mosley ?? Chavez had over 98+ ring wars thats totally different so yes you are wrong.
