Fact is Calzaghe hasn't got time to chase his ATG standings at 35 , his promotors have done there damage taking his career down the path its gone.
I think he will be remembered as a fine champion but not an ATG.
He did agree a fight with Hopkins but at last minute B'Hop doubled the amount he wanted for the fight.
Yes I'm aware of that fact i was talking hyperthe tically , in the sense that Hopkins is now way past his best so its kinda a no win for Calzaghe.
Calzaghe has more to lose by fight Hopkins now if he loses to Hopkins he would be slated but if he won people will just say that B'Hop was ready for the taking because of his age, even tho he looked good last time out.I would expect Calzaghe to be favorite for the fight aswell.
