Default I THINK MAYWEATHER WILL STOP HATTON

I believe Mayweather will be the first to beat and at the same time stop Ricky Hatton I think Mayweather cuts Hatton to pieces probably dropping him twice to a stoppage on cuts around round 6 or 7.

    Your NOT Welcome back Mike.

I thought you we're serving a 1 day sentence? They let you out early on good behavior?

Anyway as for your prediction I don't think you've ever been more wrong then prediciting this.
PBF hasn't stopped an opponent since he fought the blown up Sharmba. I think PBF beats Hatton but I don't think he'll stop him.
If Zab couldn't stop crystal glass chin Zab then I just don't see how he'll stop Hatton.

    Well thats an opinion....

However i have to argue that Hatton's vulnearability to cuts seems to be greatly reduced following the remedial operation following the Tszyu fight. Granted he was cut up badly against Maussa but that was largely due to elbows and Maussa's noggin hittin the hitman.

It is always a possability in a fight, an increased possability in a Ricky Hatton fight, but i don't see it happening. I believe Floyd will be gunning for a stoppage this time round as Ricky does not enjoy the advantage in size that Baldomir and DLH had over Mayweather. However it may be this lust for blood which (i hope) gets Floyd caught.

Yes he took a count against...was it Castillo or Chavez...Chavez i think, same fight in which he broke his hand.

Magee caught Rick flush for a legitimate knockdowen but i don't think Ricky was hurt.

Typical boxing4real/starr kind of post, out dated and irrelevant. And yes Mayweather has been down, he took a knee cos his hand was hurting.

At welter, Mayweather has not got the power to stop elite guys. ALso, If mayweather's camp know what they are doing, they will make sure Floyd doesn't engage in close, banging action so he wouldn't get in the postition to do this anyway. Mayweather will win a wide ud in my opinion but he will not be able to knock Hatton out. Instaed he will saty outside, jabbing Hatton consistently and then throwing flashy comb's when Hatton goes, tries to go to the body.

Mayweather doesn't jab tho, he uses the straight right as his lead punch. Its rare he uses the jab since moving up

He used to jab a lot at LW as we saw in maximum effect against Corrales, but in my opinion the jab would only set Ricky up for his "aggresive counterpunching" as Graham depicts it.

but past fights indicate that Mayweather can jab if he needs too. I can't see Hatton being able to use a counter-punching style here as Mayweather won't be in one place long enough for Hatton to do this. You are correct that Mayweather does use the straight jab as his lead punch but Hatton's camp will prepare for that. i belive that the best strategy for Floyd is to use the jab. As you siad it worked against Corrales who is a pressure fighter like Hatton.

Well if i were in the mayweather camp (which i would prefer only to the option of chewing off my own genitals.) i would have Floyd preparing for the lunging lead left hook, the right uppercut inside and the left hook low.

If i was in the Hatton corner id have him prepare for mayweather by utilising a right straight and jab of his own alongside a RIGHt hook, not because it would be suprising but i feel the inpenetrable Mayweather shell may be delicate on the left side.

I know your wrong. I have no idea...absolutely no idea how one guy can bash Calzaghe and Hatton so much yet have "Britain's got talent in Junior Witter!!!" as his signiture.

I can only assume you think the opposite of reality.

C'mon dude, tell me whats good about Witter and whats not about Hatton & Calzaghe?

Exactly and he caught Zab LOTS of times flush on the chin.

That was against Carlos Hernandez. But since he was never hit, it's hard to even consider that a knock down.

Exactly. Mayweather took a knee on his own accord from turning his hand. Never been down from a punch. of course if you count his glove hitting the mat against Zab which the Ref missed. But it dosent officially count
