And it wasn't the final scene, but the ending of The Departed was like another movie in itself.
I looked through one page of this thread and didn't see this movie mentioned.. but being the self proclaimed film buff that i am.. one of, if not the best ending of a movie EVER is..

The Usual Suspects. Simply for shock value, and a terrific unraveling of the plot by the master, Kevin Spacey.
