Question: if the time zone/difference was meaningless, why did Hatton ask for tune-ups fights prior to FMJ and SPECIFICALLY mention the time zones as a reason? Thanks in advance for your reply.

The time zone is renderred meaningless when it doesn't favour either fighter. that was the 1st time hatton had fought at 4am aswell.

The tune ups weren't to get used to the time zone....they were to establish himself in America.
