Nearly every post on here is speculation. (Could Ali beat Tyson and etc..) The relevance of the fact that you are presenting is easily disputed.

Danny Williams saying that the States aren't presenting any contenders is pure speculation. It's not as if he watches every amatuer match and can keep up with every boxer. But the side that must be argued to that is, who is Danny Williams to argue about up and coming fighters in the first place. If he knew good boxing from bad boxing he would've retired awhile ago.

I'm disgusted by the NBA, fundamentals have gone completely out the window and I mostly just watch college now. However, if we sent Shaquille O'Neal,
Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash to every international
event it would be right back to original-dream-team-size blowouts fundamentals or not. Selfishness plays a huge role, but apathy is why we send average players like Richard Jefferson to lose to Argentina. Hell, do you realize there was not a center
on the roster that lost to Argentina, NOT 1!
