Yeah but he ain't champ, Peters #2 & Maskaev is #3. Wlad vs Peter/ Maskaev winner = Heavyweight Champion!
Your right Wlad ain't the champ. But it's pretty much only a matter of time
I agree hopefully the Peter/ Maskaev winner is next. That'll do it!!!

    You could be right...
But I could see Maskaev taking the fight for the money alone & Peters been there before so I could see him in with Wlad again.

The loser of Peter/ Maskaev will drop outta the top 3 & Chagaev should move into 3. That would qualify for a championship match. I think Chagaev would fight Wlad, he may not win but he'll definitely fight!

Chagaev has some kind of illness which makes him very fatigued which is why he pulled out of the fight with Sultan.

Ruslan is a tough fighter, the toughest I think in the top 5...he can take a shot but he hasn't had to take them from Wladimir so it might still be a questionmark

vitali is the mandatory for the winner of the Peter-maskaev fight..

chagaev is wlads only other option for 3/4 unification and i think that fight could be made before the klitschko-sultan match is fought... he can buy time by paying his mandatories to wait and fight them later...

it would be unusual but the ring might make wlad the champ after this fight... pavlik was 3 or 4 win he beat JT and he is the ring champ...

The winner of Wlad/ Sultan won't be recognized by the Ring as champ!
The way it works is #1 has to fight #2, in certain circumstances #1 fighting #3 will qualify. At this time Wlad is #1 & Sultan is #6.
Pavlik became champ because he defeated Taylor who was champion!

AFTER wlad deals with sultan, i dont mind him taking care of whatever mandatories he has to. I really dont. For a long time now people have pissed and moaned about unifications and a real hw champ since lewis. Wlad fights ray austin and gets shitted on by some people. I DOUBT wlad wanted to fight that bum but he deffinately has unification on the mind. And since he is true to that, i can wait.
