I don't think coming at Mayweather with speed is to anyones advantage, Zab landed his best left hands early when Mayweather was coming forward because Mayweather can really on his speed offensively. Hatton isn't anywhere near to as fast as Oscar Dela Hoya who really didn't Mayweather that often, and Oscar had his height which allowed him to come overtop with that right which landed a few times and was his hardest punch in that fight. Also Mayweather has never been kept on the ropes since Philip Ndou for a retarted amount of time, He will let his opponent throw a small flurry then he will counter off the ropes or slip out. IMO Hatton really needs to hold and punch with other hand. Also he needs to come forward using constant pressure, and if he does use a punch coming forward it better be a jab that comes straight back to his head. Even though I dont' see Mayweather ko'ing Hatton I do not think its out of the question. I think he had a good chance of KO'ing Zab before the incident. Collazo almost ko'ed Hatton late, and we all know how strong of a finisher Mayweather is. MAyweather also hurt Oscar a few times who has a great chin.
