There is a good chance FMJ stops Hatton.

To be fair, Mayweather is a 135er fighting at 147/154. It is unreasonable to expect him to stop Baldomir or Delahoya.

Delahoya fought Trinidad, Mosley twice, Vargas, Sturm, Quartey, Mayorga and Hopkins. In those 90+ rounds with very strong punchers, only Hopkins was able to stop him at middleweight, and that was on a bodyshot. Both Oscar and Baldomir are big men who both have terrific chins.

By contrast, Ricky Hatton is a JWW. And Hatton was down vs Magee and badly hurt vs Collazo. Neither are concussive punchers.

Here is Mayweather's record vs natural JWW's:

Bruseles: 2 knockdowns, TKO win
Gatti: knockdown, brutal TKO win
Corley: 2 knockdowns, wide decision.
Mitchell*: 2 knockdowns, TKO win.

I would say FMJ's power record vs 140ers is pretty darn respectable. And Floyd is a stronger fighter now than he was at 140. Hatton would be making a mistake if his plan is to try and walk through Mayweather's fire. RH should be appropriately defensive.
gatti and mitchell came up from 130-135 so they arnt natrual 140, by contrast hatton fought collazo who came down from 150-155 that is a huge difference, that is why his punches where "concussive".... i guarnatee you a 150 natrual collazo hits harder than a 140 natrual mayweather at 147

mayweather koing an old-overweight gatti and other 140 top 10 is completely different than the 140 ring champ hatton in his prime....

hatton is on a much much higher level.... there is no way mayweather ko's hatton ... Floyd might win but but the only way he could win by ko would be cuts and i think there is a better chance of mayweather being ko'd...
