Everybody from a tough neighborhood says that.

I say that about certain neighborhoods back home. Guys from NY say that about Harlem or Brooklyn. Jaimaicans say it about Kingston.

But, in truth, the toughest neighborhoods I've seen are some of the favelas in Rio.

Excellent point Dios, even though I'm English I always cringe when somebody says stuff like that. I've never been into anywhere like the 'City of God' but I did go into Rocinha in Rio - Manchester is more like Manhattan in comparison to even somewhere like that.
