Not really. Ali at his absolute prime was as good a boxer and athlete the sport has ever seen. And to think he was a heavyweight...mind boggling really. No question Floyd possesses great skills and defense...but he will never...not now...not after he retires be mentioned in the same class as an Ali or Robinson. He probably wont even crack the top ten all time greatest list. Floyd only wishes he can talk himself into the top spot as the ATG.

Ali did most things wrong, where as Mayweather is one of the best technically skilled fighters out there Mayweather beats Ali in skills by a landslide.

The same class as Ali ?? Ali wouldn't even be in top 10 if he wouldn't of got lucky decisions against Norton, Shavers, Young,

You can make an arguement that he was lucky in atleast 7 of his fights.

I meant about gift decision's but really and truthfully atleast 10 losses should be on Ali's record.

DQ loss to Henry Cooper smelling salts wern't allowed in UK at that time so really he should of been DQ.

Loss to Young.

2 losses to Norton

1 loss to Shavers.

He lost all of these fights imo, sorry but when i keep hearing about Mayweather's not in Ali's class etc. I have to respond if Ali would of lost all of these fights he would not be in top 10 all time list think what you want but you know yourself that is true.

You know what i think is true?! That is your opinion...but it's just that...YOUR opinion. You are just going to have very few people sharing your opinion. You keep mentioning Young, Norton, Shavers, etc. Ali beat Liston, Frazier, Foreman, Patterson...to name a few. He has fought some of the all time greatest fighters in the history of the sport. He has provided some of the most memorable moments in boxing history. He is a LEGEND. History will remember him. Floyd is not in that class...not now...not ever. Floyd will be extremely lucky to be mentioned in the same breath as Leonard, Duran, Hagler...the list can go on...let alone Robinson or Ali. Maybe you are not a big Ali fan or you are just a huge Floyd fan...but history speaks for itself.

You called my comment ridiculous so im just pointing where i think Ali should have atleast 10 losses on his record all i was saying if Ali would of lost these fights he would not be in 10 of all time with 10 losses on his record.

If Mayweather beats Cotto, Williams, Mosley, then he is well up there in All Time P4P list.
