Ali has Foreman, Frazier, Shavers, Patterson, Liston, Norton to just name a few.

Sugar Ray Leonard has wins over Hearns, Duran, and Hagler. AND he fought those guys multiple times with the exception of Hagler.

You can even make arguments that people who are currently fighting now like Shane Mosley, Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, and Winky Wright (the most screwed fighter ever!) have much better resumes than Mayweathers.

If Floyd goes on to beat Hatton and then Cotto and then any of the other elite welterweights (Williams, Cintron, and Margarito), then Floyd will have proper background to those statements he is making.
First off Mayweather has alot more better wins than your giving him credit for i'll list them now.

Genaro Hernandez
Angel Manfredy
Diego Corrales
Carlos Hernandez
Jesus Chavez
Jose Luis Castillo x2

And second how does Pacquiao, Wright, Mosley, have better resumes than Mayweather
Pacquiao has Barrera(twice) and Morales(in a trilogy) on his resume which speaks for itself. Who has Mayweather beaten that were ATGs? Even though I felt Marquez was the man of the night when they fought, if it wasn't for a judge's error on the scorecard, Pacquiao would have a victory against Marquez.

Winky has a good resume. Quartey, Trinidad, and Mosley (twice). He got cheated out against Taylor and Vargas. And he may have lost but it was much closer than the judges had it against Hopkins.

Mosely has Vargas(twice) and De La Hoya(twice). But he's been in the ring with Wright and Cotto. I still think Mosley's resume is nicer than Floyd's but not by much.

Even though these three have losses in their records, their showings in those losses and their level of competition is much higher than Floyd's list.
You say Oscar was old and his career wasn't noteworthy at that time well can't we say the same about Barrera and Morales who were both old and past there prime ?? Mayweather's resume is far better than Pacquiao's even biggest Mayweather haters know this.

Winky has a good resume. Quartey, Trinidad, and Mosley (twice). He got cheated out against Taylor and Vargas. And he may have lost but it was much closer than the judges had it against Hopkins.

Winky has few good wins on his record but how can you sit there with a straight face and tell me Wright's resume is better than Mayweather's ?? he wasn't cheated out against Taylor and Vargas, Vargas won there fight and Taylor vs Wright was close but even if you think Wright won these it doesn't matter it still counts as a loss on the record and a draw.

Mosely has Vargas(twice) and De La Hoya(twice). But he's been in the ring with Wright and Cotto. I still think Mosley's resume is nicer than Floyd's but not by much.

So beating an old shot Vargas and beating Oscar De La Hoya, makes Mosley's resume better than Mayweather's get real.

Even though these three have losses in their records, their showings in those losses and their level of competition is much higher than Floyd's list.

It doesn't matter how well they performed in there losses there resumes still aren't as good as Mayweather's hell by your logic Quarry has a better resume than Mayweather because he lost to Ali, Fraizer, Norton,
