It was actually sarcasm. But I knew Calzaghe dick holder would respond.Originally Posted by Rob Lewis

Have to learn to seperate the two![]()
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!
I can very well see Calzaghe continuing for another 18 months and having 3 or 4 bouts and finally calling it a day unbeaten.
Hopefully with 2 big fights in there to keep the retirement fund truly up to scratch.
Depends what fights he choses.
He will be B-Hop he will win.
If he fights Dawson he will win
If he fights Woods he will win
If he fights RJJ he will win
If he fights Pavlik - i see him losing. It would have to be at SMW and I can't see Calzaghe draining weight again to fight an ever improving fighter like Pavlik.
I hope he stays unbeaten!
And as for people not liking or still not respecting Joe...WTF does he have to doThank God your in an absolute minority!!!
It's very possible to lose, as Dax said, every single fighter in history COULD lose, if they face the wrong guy at the wrong time.
This is why I reckon JC should have 2 more fights at most, B-hop then possibly the guy who comes through Pavlik-Taylor, Taylor being the easier fight to make probably since he is certain to stay at SM.
Joe could make life difficult for himself picking a lesser known opposition he'd be expected to deal with, a combination of underating his opponent and his age could catch up with him. He needs only the fihgts that motivates him most.
The only way I see Calzaghe losing is by breaking both of his hands. The only one I could see keeping up with his workrate is Pavlik cause he can stand into the fire, but I don't know if Pavlik could handle Joe's ability to adjust.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
From the two opponents I've heard rumors about (Hopkins and Roy Jones calling Joe out), I don't think Calzaghe will would lose to either of them. Joe's work rate alone would be too much for either opponent to handle.
If Pavlik gets through Taylor, which myself and the rest of the world thinks, I don't see any other greater goal for Pavlik than to move up and take on Calzaghe. At this point is where Joe's work rate meets work rate + power from Pavlik. Pavlik will dethrone the aging Calzaghe...
...That is unless Joe feels content with a victory over Hopkins and/or Jones solidifying his legacy and retires undefeated.
