1. Franklin D. Roosevelt - innovator and very successful President, made Americans proud and drug them out of a deep hole called the Great Depression before leading the US to victory in World War II and he served 4 terms and died in office.....after which there was an amendment to the Constitution limiting serving to 2 terms.

Ronald Reagan (affected by the 22nd Amendment) - A legend who broke down the Berlin Wall and crippled communism, ended the Cold War, and who made Americans proud of their country and had huge approval ratings.....I mean he carried 44 out of the 50 states vs Carter taking 50.7 % of the vote and then he thumped Mondale!

Reagan's 525 electoral votes (out of 53 is the highest total ever received by a presidential candidate. In the national popular vote, Reagan received 58.8% to Mondale's 40.6%.
