Leonard wouldn't be able to get off his combinations against Mayweather. I won't say Zab Judah is the similar to Leonard except that they have similar punching power and speed. However, Judah is a southpaw who has a great left cross which is Mayweather biggest problem. Leonard had a good jab, but I think it was about on the same level as Dela HOya's because Oscar's was harder, and I think he hooks off it better. Also Leonard's combinations were hooks which are easy to block with Floyd's defensive style it is set up to block hooks more so than straight punches. Sure Mayweather Snr got physically dominated but you see the problems that shoulder gave Leonard, and another problem Snr did was left his right hand come down so the left hook could land on his chin, but pretty boy doesn't allow for that and keeps that right hand glued to the side of his head. What Mayweather Snr did was he made Leonard miss a lot of shots, He countered Leonard effectively off the ropes, but Leonard's punches were rocking him, when he got hit to the body his arms left the position they were suppose to be in, and later on he stopped using his shoulder to block those right hands. It is ridiculous to say Mayweather has weak opposition look at the record of these guys, Mayweather is now starting to now get the opposition that compares to Leonard's, and if he fights Mosley and Cotto it will be up there just because he has foughten so many fighters with great records and still has kept his 0 in loses. How does Leonard have all that advantages? He isn't a great inside fighter, he can throw combinations but he doesn't have really technique on the inside, he doesn't have the same defensive skills at all, we've already stated that they have the same speed, and reach can be an advantage and a disadvantage depending on how the fight is foughten. Its also what Mayweather has been saying it isn't just about physical attributes, he is more skilled than people. He is a little more technically sound, he is little better at figuring out opponents, and these are the reasons why I think he matches up evenly with Leonard.
