I've seen almost Leonard's whole career, and most of his big fights many many times(like against Hearns, Duran the first two times, Benitez, etc.). First of all neither Leonard or Mayweather are a hell of a lot faster than Oscar. Oscar is incredibly fast and is just a touch slower than the fastest guys(like Mosley who was faster than Leonard or Mayweather in terms of handspeed at WW). Also there is no way Leonard had as hard of a jab as Oscar, who was harder hitter and he is left handed. Leonard has faced three ATG maybe four including Benitez, Mayweather has faced one as of yet, but Duran was fighting above his starting weight and hadn't foughten anyone near Leonard's level up until their fight and he still beat Leonard the first time. While Floyd went up to 154 for the first time which was 24 pounds above his starting weight and 5 pounds above his natural walking around weight and actually came in at 150 for fight night against Oscar and beat him by 4 or 5 rounds. How can you say Mayweather doesn't figure out opponents better? He figured out Gatti in about 5 seconds though Gatti is pretty bad Mayweather was hooking him off the jab after 15 seconds which is one of the hardest things to do in terms of countering. Mayweather figured out Judah who was extremely fast, hard hitting in about 3 and half rounds, and after that It was that Mayweather wore him down or that Judah wiltered, Mayweather actually figured him out and using a technique he almost never uses he walked Judah down and gave him a beating while Judah had difficulties doing anything after that point. People said Oscar would beat Mayweather I said firmly he would not because it doesn't matter how many great fighters he's foughten I could tell by their styles that MAyweather would beat him convincingly because he was more skilled, Leonard is better than Oscar there is no denying that, and htats why I think he gets a fair chance against Mayweather. Once against for Daxx among others and you mr140 this is my opinion, I think you make valid points, but I disagree with them. I see the opposite about the reach thing, Mayweather has done well against Corrales, Ndou, Dela Hoya, etc. I think he likes being the smaller guy, and he loves jabing those taller guys to the body.
