Diego didn't find his right identity until he hired Goosen as a trainer.
In the Mayweather fight, he was going through problems outside the ring and he had weight problems.
In other words... Corrales didn't fully develope yet. When he did, he had CLASSIC fights. A great MAN.

I would consider Corrales a good win, but nothing of a p4p ranking fight.
Nothing that would break you into the top 20 p4p either, at THAT point in Corrales' career.
