Hi Gents,
Man, I'm excited about this fight! While both are among my favorite fighters, if I were a betting man, I would put my money on Silva. I think he'll take it by decision. I don't see a knockout (or a submission for that matter) either way; both men are too good and savvy. Moreover, both have a good set of whiskers on them.

Dan certainly has his world class wrestling skills and his vaunted right hand along with a pretty potent left hook to boot. But Anderson, on the other hand, is technically a more complete package as his stand-up, clinch, and ground games are all outstanding. What really stands out about Anderson is his accuracy and timing. He's on another level. He's very effective and efficient with all he does.

The X factor about Dan, which makes him so, so tough, is his winning mentality. He has one of the strongest, if not the strongest, mindset in MMA. C'mon, this guy has fought everybody and has never been knocked out. Sure, he was submitted by Frank Shamrock, but that was a strictly submission grappling match many years ago when he was a newbie. Other than that, all the fights he's lost have been close and by decision. If there is anyone who has the ability to beat Anderson it's Dan. But...

Anderson's mindset is as strong as Dan's as showcased in his dominating victories over formidable opposition. He's been destroying everyone who's been put in front of him the last few years. As the saying goes, confidence breeds confidence, success breeds success...

Anyway, it's gonna be a great, great fight. Can't wait...

Take care.
