I'va always thought the "Power Punches" stats from that fight were very misleading.

A lot of Castillo's "power punches" were light right hands that he would tap on Mayweather's side when they were in a clinch. Basically, if they got in a clinch and Castillo's left arm was tied up, he would hit Floyd with his free right hand.

That's completely legal, and it should count as a landed punch, but it wasn't really a "power punch," in fact those punches were thrown with much less force than a clean jab.

That's why I don't like when people sometimes put so much more weight on power punch stats than jab stats, because all power punch means is a punch that isn't a jab, it doesn't mean it's actually thrown with power. An authorative clean jab does more damage than a light "power punch."

I thought Mayweather-Castillo I was a draw, for what it's worth.
