Well supposedly Tito is using Cotto as sparring partner for the Roy Jones Jr fight.

Where did you hear that? Doesn't sound right.

Ya, I'd like to see a link with a credible source on this one. I don't see why Cotto would want to be a sparring partner, and I don't see why Tito thinks that Cotto would prepare him well for Jones.

Cotto and Jones are about as opposite as you can get in terms of fighting style.

Who can Tito spar with though to prepare him for Jones ?? there is no one who has an awkward style like Jones or anyone as fast as Jones at Lightheavyweight that could prepare him for Jones.

Obviously, there's no one who's exactly like Jones. But you can't get more opposite than Jones and Cotto.

Jones is fighter who doesn't jab, doesn't throw to the body. Cotto's whole attack is based around jabbing and going to the body.

Cotto almost always comes forward. Jones, at this stage of his career, spends most of the fight moving backwards or laying on the ropes to rest.
