I think he can beat everyone at Welterweight except Mayweather. although Tony is bad style match up for Cotto im a bit worried about that match up, and Also Paul Williams but i don't think Williams has the fire power to hold off Cotto and i also think Cotto's body shots would be too much for the slim Williams. But in your opinion can Cotto be as good as Trinidad was ??
Personally...I hate the comparison.

Cotto has proven that he's a far better fighter than Tito...it's just the marketability that's the problem.

Tito is a brighter star than Cotto is...& in the end...that's that, for me. Now I realize that Tito fans are gonna go apeshit...but sit down & watch Cotto from start to current finish. He's the better boxer all the way around. He's far more superior at this moment...& Cotto's still improving & far from his peak.

That's almost scarey.

When I say that I hate the comparison...I'm being as sincere as I can be. I think that Cotto's got twice the potential...& less than half the personality.

It's unjust to compare them...unjust & unfair...to both fighters.

While Tito pales in comparison to Cotto, IWHO, now & then...he was a great fighter who was just that...a fighter...& not a boxer. Again, this is only my opinion...take it or leave it...I know that many will not agree...but the facts are the facts & Cotto proved against Mosley that he could & would be able to hang with legitamately equipped boxers.

The exact opposite of Trinidad, IWHO.

So in answer to your question...Can Cotto Be As Good As Felix Trinidad Was??

Again...I say that he already is.

Can he be as beloved & famous as Tito was?

No...I don't think so. He's popular...but mostly in Puerto & New York.
